RETURNS, REFUNDS & PRODUCT GUARANTEE

At Health Couture, every product is handmade in small batches using premium ingredients. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we maintain a strict returns and refund policy.

1. FOOD PRODUCTS ARE NON-RETURNABLE

For health, safety and quality control reasons, all food products sold by Health Couture are non-returnable and non-refundable once they have been collected, delivered, or handed over to the customer.

We cannot accept returns for:
• Change of mind
• Personal taste preferences
• Incorrect storage after collection or delivery
• Products that have been partially consumed
• Products purchased for a specific event or occasion that are no longer required
• Orders where the customer selected an incorrect product, quantity or flavour

2. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If you receive a product that is:

• Incorrect
• Missing from your order
• Damaged during delivery
• Not fit for consumption due to a manufacturing defect

You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for review.

To investigate the matter, we may require:

• Clear photographs of the product
• Photographs of the packaging
• Batch information where applicable
• Proof of purchase

Health Couture reserves the right to inspect the evidence before approving any replacement, store credit or refund.

3. QUALITY GUARANTEE

We stand behind the quality of our products.

If a product is found to have a verified manufacturing defect or quality issue attributable to Health Couture, we may, at our sole discretion:

• Replace the product
• Issue store credit
• Issue a partial or full refund

The remedy offered will depend on the nature of the issue and supporting evidence provided.

4. DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive deliveries.

Health Couture cannot be held responsible for:

• Failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses supplied by the customer
• Missed deliveries
• Products left unattended at the customer’s request
• Quality deterioration resulting from delayed collection or acceptance of delivery

Risk and responsibility for the products pass to the customer upon collection or successful delivery.

5. STORAGE REQUIREMENTS

Our products must be stored according to the instructions provided.

Health Couture accepts no responsibility for product deterioration resulting from:

• Exposure to heat or direct sunlight
• Improper refrigeration
• Freezing where not recommended
• Extended storage beyond the stated shelf life
• Mishandling after collection or delivery

6. ALLERGEN DISCLAIMER

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

• Dairy
• Eggs
• Nuts
• Wheat
• Gluten

Customers are responsible for reviewing product information before purchase.

Health Couture cannot accept responsibility for allergic reactions where allergens have been disclosed.

7. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may only be cancelled prior to production commencing.

Once ingredients have been purchased, preparation has begun, or products have been produced, no refunds will be issued.

Custom, made-to-order, personalised and event-specific orders are non-refundable.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Health Couture’s liability shall be limited to the purchase price paid for the affected product.

Health Couture shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages arising from the purchase, use or consumption of any product.

*Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. Returns and refunds are only considered where a product is proven to be defective, damaged upon delivery, or incorrectly supplied by Health Couture.*
